Description
This community-wide initiative encourages Derby residents and nearby visitors to shop within Derby from November 26 – December 14, 2025.
PROGRAM DETAILS:
All participating businesses will be featured on the Derby Chamber of Commerce website, Facebook event, and Chamber social media marketing throughout the campaign.
From November 26 – December 14, shoppers will be encouraged to support participating businesses by:
- Shopping locally and uploading their purchase receipts through the Chamber’s online entry form.
- Leaving positive reviews on Facebook or Google for participating businesses.
- Posting on social media about participating businesses and tagging both the business and the Derby Chamber.
Each of these actions earns shoppers an entry into the Shop Derby Grand Prize Basket, filled with gift cards from all participating businesses. A winner will be randomly drawn and announced on December 15, 2025.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
- Contribute a $25 (or higher) gift card from your business to be included in the Shop Derby Grand Prize Basket.
- Place the Shop Local flyer in a spot where customers will easily see it, such as your front door, counter, or checkout area (if applicable).
- Share the program on your business’s social media pages using the Chamber’s provided graphics or your own promotional posts.
ELIGIBILITY:
- Must be a Derby Chamber of Commerce member
- Must be located within the Derby city limits
- Must sell physical products, food, gift cards, certificates, or have an online store capable of providing printed or digital receipts.
If you want to participate but do not sell physical products, you can donate $25 to the cause and be listed in the event marketing as a program supporter.
